Job Summary
Provides quality loan processing in a paperless work environment, reviewing files for adherence
to underwriting standards and ensuring completeness of underwriting submission. Act as a liaison
between Third Party Originating client, Loan Officer and/or Realtor, Underwriters, Closers and
other internal partners to collect necessary documentation, provide current loan status and to
close loans on time.
Successful in using critical thinking and analytical skills to process loans including income
calculation plus credit and asset review
Demonstrate the ability to work on the loan origination system. Meet monthly performance
metrics (productivity/quality), and satisfactory client customer survey scores
Requirements for Loan Processor
3-5 years’ experience in retail loan processing, experience using agency automated underwriting
systems
FHA/VA/USDA loans experience strongly preferred
Ability to quickly resolve customer escalations and have excellent written and verbal
communication skills
Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Encompass 360, email and web research
Able to work in a team environment and possess excellent time management skills (multi-tasker)
