Health Care Associate (Attorney)

A well established Law Firm is seeking an associate to join its well-recognized national Health Care Practice Group in the Los Angeles office. Our Health Care practice in California is predominantly provider-focused, representing public and non-profit hospitals, health systems, laboratories, ancillary suppliers, and provider groups. We are recognized experts in Medicaid financing, the 340B drug program, social determinants of health, value-based care, and fraud and abuse counseling. Our attorneys are mission driven in their representation of public health systems and counties, and work closely with clients to implement evolving health care delivery models.

The ideal candidate will possess 2 to 6 years of health care regulatory and/or transactional experience, with particular emphasis on health care clients. Candidates should have general knowledge of federal and state health care laws and regulations, including their impact on health care transactions and day-to-day business matters. We are looking for candidates with a demonstrated interest in health care who are solution-oriented and adaptable to working on a range of dynamic, cutting-edge issues. Prior judicial law clerk experience is a plus but not required. We are seeking a well-rounded, dynamic, highly motivated associate with strong academic credentials and excellent writing and communication skills. The candidate should expect direct interaction with both senior partners and clients and have a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and an exceptional work ethic. Our firm offers a comprehensive benefit program which currently includes Paid Time Off; Paid Holidays; Medical, Dental and Vision insurance; 401(k) Retirement; Disability and Life insurance; Adoption Assistance; Backup Care for Dependents. Pursuant to the CA Pay Transparency for Pay Equity Act, the expected salary range for this position is between $230,000 - $375,000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
