Work closely with a project team of representatives from the software vendor, client, and the IT department to support the implementation of a new Computer Aided Dispatch & Records Management System (CAD/RMS) for a local government agency

Participate in the planning, implementation, testing, and training phases associated with the implementation of commercial off-the-shelf systems

Work independently to research and problem solve issues

Support Information Technology team in the deployment of the CAD/RMS

Work with business, IT and vendors to resolve routine to moderately-complex systems problems; troubleshoot system and application issues

Maintain, configure and customize applications, interfaces and reports

Plan and coordinate to deploy new code and configuration through the development, test and production lifecycle

Develop and maintain technical and user documentation as needed

Provide user support and training as needed

5+ years of experience in systems analysis and application development

5+ years of experience as a data developer and reports writer

Experienced in implementing business requirements/rules through customization, configuration, and setup

General understanding of SQL Server 2012 (or higher)

Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or a closely related technical field

Computer-aided dispatch (CAD) system and Record Management System (RMS) experience is desirable

Previous experience working in government, law enforcement or logistics is highly desirable.
