Retail Marketing Manager

One of the top-performing companies in the industry is looking to hire a Retail Marketing Manager to lead the multiple brands to new levels of retail success. This individual will craft and implement strategies to create and strengthen the brand’s go-to-market execution, especially within the mass channel. A deep understanding of the US and International retail landscape as well as knowledge and passion for the beauty category is crucial for success in this role.  We are looking for an energetic, dynamic and personable individual who is highly strategic and also detail-oriented.
 
Essential Job Functions:
  • With VP of Marketing, create and drive the go-to-market financial targets and marketing activation plan for both domestic and international markets. For domestic market, with strong focus for value channels
  • Work closely with key brand partners such as product development, communications, creative and market research to create seamless alignment and a clear understanding of business priorities
  • With clear understanding of retail specific style guides, oversee planogram strategy to bring brand messaging to life at the wall, maximize growth, and create visual interest at retail, especially at mass accounts
  • Work closely with sales team to execute all account strategy and identify incremental opportunities in each account to drive top line revenue and bottom-line profit
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams including S&OP team and production team to ensure programs are shipped on time and develop excess inventory programs for value channels
  • Work closely with our international partners to develop programs for each region
  • Take a leadership role in working cross-functionally with sales, product development, communications, project management to bring projects to life
  • Represent the brands in high visibility retailer specific corporate meetings and strategy sessions, ensuring image, presentation and actions support brand equity and the strengthening of brand position
  • Perform other duties as needed and directed by management
 
Minimum Qualifications:
 
  • Strong communication, presentation and organizational skills
  • Able to work in fast-paced and multi-brand environments
  • Analytical in approach to identifying opportunities
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Skill in oral and written communication
  • Skill in basic computer operation, and software programs such as Microsoft Office
  • Ability to accurately and effectively communicate with customers and staff in a professional and courteous manner
  • Ability to organize multiple work assignments and establish priorities
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and ensure accuracy
  • Up to 20% travel may be required (post COVID-19)
  • Ability to manage 250-300skus 
 
Education and Experience
  • Degree in Business Marketing or related field
  • B2B experience is a MUST
  • 5-7 years of experience in brand marketing or retail management
  • Cosmetics industry experience is a MUST
  • Mass Marketing experience
