Associate Attorney Personal Injury

Location: El Segundo / Remote
Pay Range: $100K - $115K+ (based on experience)
Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the California State Bar.
- 1–3 years of experience in personal injury litigation, preferably with both defense and plaintiff-side experience
Responsibilities
- Assist in handling personal injury cases from intake through settlement or litigation.
- Draft demand packages, pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and discovery responses.
- Conduct legal research and analyze liability, damages, and insurance coverage issues.
- Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and opposing counsel.
- Participate in case strategy discussions and collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff.
- Attend court appearances, hearings, depositions, mediations, and settlement conferences as needed.
- Review medical records, billing records, and other evidence relevant to client claims.
- Assist with trial preparation and other litigation-related tasks.
