Job Summary • Drive sales through service: Achieve sales and referral goals by developing a positive customer experience • Build a book of business: Proactively seek ways to develop and expand customer relationships to contribute to the Company’s success • Maximize personal productivity: Desire to maximize personal productivity through attention to detail, self-motivation, and adaptability to achieve branch and personal goals • Grow your capabilities: Actively participate in opportunities to expand knowledge, influence, and interpersonal skills • Ensure compliance with privacy laws and confidentiality policies throughout the process. • Communicates with customers to help them choose the best mortgage loan they can afford Skills • Evaluate creditworthiness and eligibility for obtaining a mortgage loan • Guide customers through mortgage loan options • Prepare and submit mortgage loan applications and Inform customers about loan approval or rejection • Research new mortgage loan policies • Build a supportive referral network with customers, lenders, real estate agents Requirements for Loan Officer • Licensing Requirement: Must have state-approved MLO license • 3+ years’ of experience in building a book of business or Proven success as a loan officer, originator, banker, or wholesale account executive • Understand and fully comply with Encompass Lending Group’s Core Values. • Genuine self-starters. Passion and work ethic to keep getting better every day • Bring your referring sources (i.e., realtor partnerships, past clients, and other lead sources). • Understand and maintain a thorough knowledge of various mortgage loan programs and have a minimum of two years of experience originating Conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loans.
