Seeking a Payroll/ Specialist for our Los Angeles office to process payroll and ensure the accuracy, integrity and quality of data for payroll, HRIS, benefit, and equity plan systems. ADP Workforce Now (WFN) experience highly desirable.

Candidate must be willing to learn Stock Administrator duties.
Seasoned full cycle payroll experience preferred.
Primary responsibilities include:
  • Process all weekly and semi-monthly payrolls.
  • Check and audit time & attendance system, coordinate with supervisors and employees for timesheet approvals.
  • Prepare all related payroll journal entries.
  • Process all participant equity plan transactions (restricted stock grants, tax withholding, forfeitures, dividends, etc.) and ensure they are accurately processed in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Maintain data in the stock administration system and reconcile share plan activity among the stock administration system, the Company’s records and transfer agent.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for all employees providing superior customer service and accurate information for payroll, employee portal, benefits and stock.
  • Ensure timely enrollment to group health insurance plans; accurate health benefits deductions, and payments to vendors including the timely processing and reporting of 401(k) contributions and loan payments. Liaise with benefit providers to assist with and/or resolve any benefit questions or claims, and enrollment or eligibility issues.
  • Perform periodic internal audits of various payroll and benefits and provide appropriate data and documents for internal and external auditors.
The successful candidate will have:
Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or related field
Two (2) years full cycle payroll experience, CPP highly desirable.
Knowledge of equity compensation highly desirable.
Knowledge of Federal and State wage/hour laws and payroll taxes to ensure compliance.
Demonstrated working knowledge of computers and software including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Advanced Excel skills (vlookups, sumif, pivot tables, etc.).
Exceptional verbal/written communication skills, with the ability to interact well with all levels of corporation.
Strong work ethic demonstrating accountability, integrity, discretion, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
