Financial Analyst with Oracle

Seeking a Full Time Financial Analyst with Oracle experience.

The successful candidate will be accountable for the following key duties and responsibilities:

• Support month end close activities including accruals, reconciliations, reporting, etc.
• Support FP&A team with financial plans and forecasts for cost components of the business. Provide on-going visibility to performance vs. expectation and support management in identifying and managing risks and opportunities
• Partner with FP&A team and support effort with building financial and business related modelling and analysis
• Partnering with companies operation leaders to provide financial performance and forecast in a timely and accurate manner to help their operation decisions
• Active participation and contribution to the forecasting and budget process through understanding key drivers
• Support team reporting process improvement to continuously improve functionality and automation of reporting needs such that reporting is standardized, scalable, and sustainable
• Coordinate all data requests including but not limited to budgets, forecasts, strategic plans, and other ad-hoc analysis.
• Grow to become a strong financial system data expert and ensure data accuracy and integrity
 
• Minimum 4 - 8 years of Finance and Accounting experience;
• Bachelor’s degree; MBA or CPA preferred;
• Prior experience and strong desire to support a fast pace, challenging FP&A environment;
• Advanced Excel proficiency (model building, Visual Basic macros, pivot tables, V-Lookups, if statements, etc.);
• Hyperion and Oracle OBIEE suites experience a plus;
• Ability to understand the big picture but also attend to critical details;
• Strong team player with a positive “can-do” attitude, willing to take on challenges and support both individual and team goals;
• Self-starter and independent thinker who takes initiative to go above and beyond;
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills; able to interact confidently with senior management;
• Highly organized with excellent time management skills; ability to work under tight deadlines with competing and shifting priorities
