JBA International is a technical services company. We have been around for over 30 years and are looking to expand our digital technology services offering.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Senior Director of Business Development requires a player/coach with an established track record of driving revenue and managing teams. Our mission is to help our brand partners grow their businesses with our support so the role requires someone who is focused on building value with current clients, new business and leads.
The role is directly responsible for developing revenues through offering media solutions, i.e. video content creation, design solutions, online advertising, lead generation, event sponsorship, content marketing, and social media marketing. In addition to sales, the Senior Director oversees the Business Development team and is responsible for the overall program management, collaborating on media sales presentations, supporting proposal writing and research, documenting media agreements in CRM.
Responsibilities:
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing and technology to identify and execute inbound lead generation programs and new revenue opportunities
  • Lead the business development team and support all direct sales efforts
  • Target media programs valued at $10,000+
  • Develop prospect strategies and proposals in order to effectively pitch media opportunities from inception through final negotiation, closing and ongoing value
  • Continuously grow sales pipeline through cold-calling, networking and prospecting
  • Set and exceed revenue targets
  • Help identify and qualify leads
  • Maintain a weekly sales report via CRM outlining all on-going activities, prospects, and deals going to agreement/execution. Track revenues executed throughout budget year.
  • Promote and market the company at conferences and events
  • Other responsibilities as they come up
Skills and Experience
  • Existing book of business for direct brands or agencies will be considered an asset
  • Proven experience in managing teams, working with agencies and selling brand direct. Minimum 2-4 years of related media sales and marketing experience, preferably direct media sales pitching agencies and national brands.
  • CRM experience
  • Flexibility in work schedule, as needed.
  • Fostering Teamwork: As a team member, demonstrates the ability and the desire to work cooperatively with others on a team.
  • Strategic thinker, with the ability to foster relationships that sell digital solutions to achieve business goals
  • Strong consultative partner sales, relationship building, and customer services skills
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strategic Thinking: Analyzing the company’s competitive position by considering the market and industry trends, existing and potential customers, and strengths and weaknesses as compared to competitors.
  • Existing relationships with media buying agencies and corporate brands
In addition to base salary will be commissions
