Are you a Software Engineer and looking for your next challenge - we are supporting the Office of Naval Intelligence/Intelligence Analysis and Data Support (ONI/IADS) Program Office. The selected developer in this role will be an expert programmer or computer scientist, who develops, integrates, and maintains threat models software. During testing and evaluation of threat models, the M&S developer will work with M&S analysts and the intelligence analyst to ensure that the developed threat system and/or integrated system-of-systems is the representative authoritative threat.

The candidate must be self-motivated, possess strong communication skills, and be willing to work as part of an integrated product team consisting of both Government and contractor personnel. Candidate is required to possess experience in developing, integrating, and maintaining software for M&S applications using C++. Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow, Python, and/or Qt; a working knowledge of UML/SysML; proficiency in the use of software version control and issue tracking tools (e.g. Apache Subversion, JIRA, Mantis, GIT, YouTrack, Gforge); experience documenting (e.g. Software Version Description (SVD), Software User?s Manual (SUM), and Interface Control Document (ICD) and demonstrating software solutions (i.e. requirements, design, test reviews); software engineering experience involving end-to-end software development, to include requirements engineering, software design, construction, testing, maintenance, and configuration management.

Additional desired skills and experience include using Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect and/or IBM Rational Enterprise Architecture; development experience with interprocess communications using HLA, TENA, DIS, UDP, and/or TCP/IP; development experience with multi-threaded applications in a Linux environment; programming real-time systems; programming displays, controls, and man-machine interfaces.

Bachelor?s degree in computer science, computer engineering or related discipline +8 or more years substantive related work experience;
(OR) Master?s degree + 6 or more years related work experience;
(OR) PhD + 4 years or more of related work experience
*MA and PhD degrees must be directly related to the disciplines listed

Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is REQUIRED.
Must be able to obtain SCI clearance upon hire
Must be US Citizen
Must be local or relocate at own cost
