  • Requires 2+ years understanding of Immigration Law and processes
  • 3+ years of total legal experience preferably in a law firm or corporate law department setting
  • Proficiency in English and Chinese Mandarin is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with all immigration process and issues of complexity.
  • Ability to manage a high caseload
  • Requires independent decision making and the ability of problem solving
  • Displays cultural sensitivity and adaptability
  • Exhibits excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Able to function with a high level of patience, tact and diplomacy in handling negative or challenging situations

  • Immigration Case File Manager will oversee a wide variety of business and/or individual immigration matters.
  • Preparation, processing and filing of all petitions and applications for EB-1A, EB-1C, EB-2 NIW, L-1A, EB-5, H-1B, and etc.
  • Responsible to promote the immigration services in order to bring new clients.
  • Work on multiple case types from simple to complex filings within particular practice area(s)
  • Self-motivated and be able to independently handle cases
  • Work with clients to gather the necessary information and documentation in a timely manner
  • Prepare all documentation according to information received from clients
  • Monitor the status of all filed applications and petitions
  • Run reports to assist in managing one’s own caseload
  • Evaluate cases and assist in providing case strategies and/or solutions to issues
  • Train Immigration Assistants (when necessary) and perhaps provide training and/or guidance to other staff with projects.
  • Keep abreast of current regulations and procedures relating to filing applications
