REQUIREMENTS:
Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and four (4) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to eight (8) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements 
• 4 years of relevant experience planning maintenance activities 
• Must know SAP CMMS system.
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors 
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job 
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines 
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Planner will use SAP PM system for work orders assigned to the contractor to be planned. 
• Planner will select the approach or course of action to perform the maintenance work described in the work order. Work orders are typically corrective maintenance request to correct a deficiency or replace something. 
• Planner will identify the steps involved in performing the corrective maintenance work including, but not limited to, permitting, isolation, job steps by labor craft, equipment and tools needed, materials whether they are parts or consumables, quantities, and subcontract or rental needs. 
• Planner will break down the steps and determine man-hours by craft, subcontractor and rental time and cost, durations of job tasks, sequence of tasks, and enter a “Job plan” into SAP. 
• Planner will ensure job plan and steps are optimized for the most efficient and cost effective “tool time” to minimize costs. 
• Planner will procure materials, equipment, subcontractors and parts needed for the job and monitor delivery to client. 
• Planner will estimate the total job cost for approval and provide detailed written estimates to client. 
• Planner will assist client field personnel with job execution as needed for changes to scope, material issues, resolve problems as they arise and answer questions. 
• Planner will monitor actual time and cost versus plan. 
• Planner will provide written status reports and estimates to complete as well as project plan versus actual performance. 
• Planner will verify and enter job completion status. 
• Other duties as assigned
