         Our client is seeking a QA analyst with the following experience.  This is a long term  contract.

Required Experience:
  •  Senior QA Analyst with minimum 5 years overall testing experience
  • Preferable to have Automotive and/or Homeowner Insurance domain knowledge and at least 2-4 years working experience with xml/SoapUI.
  • Experience with SQL databases, very good Microsoft Excel skillset as well as attention to detail for heavy data validation and ETL exposure is also required.
  • Project is fast-paced with tight deliverable schedule requiring candidate to be able to self-monitor, report individual progress and impediments accordingly; while having ability and desire to back-up Lead test analysts when needed. Excellent time management and communication skills required. 
 
A detailed task description is below. 
  • Works with business analysts to evaluate software development procedures and recommends program improvements or corrections to programmers to ensure adherence to Internal Audit and SOX compliance. 
  • Writes, revises, and verifies quality standards and test procedures for program design and product evaluation to attain quality of software economically and efficiently. 
  • Documents and works to resolve all complex problems. \Reports progress on problem resolution to management.
  • Acts as information resource about assigned areas to other Quality Assurance Analysts/Engineers. 
  • Active participant in requirements and design review meetings. 
  • Develop comprehensive test plans from functional requirements and design specifications for medium to large scale projects.
  • Develop manual and/or SOA test cases in black/grey box environments that can be transitioned to automated scripts. 
  • Execute both manual and automated functional/regression and system test cases. 
  • Document, troubleshoot and isolate problems encountered during testing.
  • Create test data for applications as needed. 
  • Document test execution results in HP Quality Center/ALM. 
  •  In conjunction with Quality Engineers, responsible for analyzing use cases and test scenarios in order to make the appropriate determination whether the functionality is an ideal candidate for automation.
