Job Description: This position will be under the guidance of a manager and will be responsible for the operational and financial audits of varying complexities. Audits will include projects, offices, and subsidiary companies as well as due diligence reviews, investigations and special requests at both domestic and international locations. This position will serve as the team lead on most audits and will be responsible for organizing and conducting all aspects of engagement, as well as communicating the results of the audit to senior and executive management. 

Approximately 50% travel is required.

Basic Job Requirements:
• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and six (6) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to ten (10) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements 
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors 
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job 
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines 
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner 

Other Job Requirements:
• Candidates should have an accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in accounting or related field and four or more years of audit experience 
• CPA or CIA certification is required. (CPA is preferred) 
• Evidence of progress towards obtaining a certification will be considered. 

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in Construction/Engineering industry 
• Ability to read and write in Spanish 
• Knowledge of SAP 
• Leadership and decision-making skills 
• Ability to function in a highly professional and confidential manner, maintaining independence and objectivity from the areas audited, in compliance with internal auditing standards and ethics 
• Requires a high degree of discretion and evaluation capabilities 
• Local candidates preferred
