Job Summary:
The Senior Contract Administrator manages all Information Services contracts and proposals. Oversee contract management processes, develop standards for bidding and submission, negotiate contracts, and manage contract documentation.

The Senior Contract Administrator’s role requires close collaboration with IS directors as well as several departments including legal, compliance, clinical operations, project management, account management, business operations and finance. Serve as primary organizational contact during contract negotiations. Engage relevant stakeholders in negotiation decisions involving legal or regulatory requirements, contract standards and cost targets. Develop and execute negotiation strategies that minimize potential losses and benefit company’s financial performance. Maintain deadlines on deliverables and communicate on an ongoing basis with business partners and internal clients about contractual issues.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Administer company Information Services (IS) contract development and management activities.              
Ensure that contracts and proposals are properly entered into databases and securely maintained.           
Develop standards for contracts, including presentation of budget, payment terms, general language and provisions.               
Review contractual performance of both parties to ensure compliance with terms.           
Identify conflicts or changes requiring resolution at contract renewal.
Draft contractual provisions based on strategy discussions, senior management input, and organizational needs and expectations. Ensure accuracy and appropriateness of contract text and attachments      
Conduct contract strategy meetings to identify issues and client requirements, facilitate pricing discussions, and obtain senior management input on timelines and deliverables                          
                               
Minimum Education/Training Required:
Master’s degree in healthcare administration, business or related field.
Will  accept BA  degree as long as you have a Paralegal certificate/legal experience         
Minimum Experience Required: 6 – 8 years of experience with healthcare information technology systems, procedures and principles.

Requirements:
  • IT experience a MUST
  • Understanding of IT budgets & forecasts
  • Ability to lead negotiations for contracts
  • Ability to drive the RFP process end-to-end
  • Must have experience  in the procure to pay lifecycle (contract, PO, Invoices, etc.)
  • SLA management understanding a must
