Candidates mus t have experience leading large, complex projects that span multiple development languages.
This role is 50% management of people and processes, 50% hands-on tech.


Qualifications/ Experience:
7+ years of application development experience (preferably with .Net, MVC, Angular, JavaScript ...)
Investment Accounting or Financial Systems knowledge preferred.
MUST have previous people management experience in a lead role.
Ability to grow a team of .NET developers, setting technical direction.
Python knowledge experience a plus (not a must)
Experience implementing and supporting Workflow or BPM applications preferred.
Hyperion or ERP experience is a plus.
Previous accountability for project delivery in an Agile environment.
Solid communication skills.
Strong sense of teamwork and ability to both lead and execute large programs in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to function as a strategic partner within a team.

Advanced understanding of Project Management and SDLC processes preferred.
Annuity/Insurance experience preferred.
Demonstrated ability to excel in collaborative work environments.
Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Analysis or equivalent work experience.
 
Responsibilities:
Leads large project efforts, ensuring project requirements and timelines are met.
Mentors team members of all levels on application design and development.
Partners with other IT areas to oversee end-to-end development.
Provides technical advice to senior IT management or project managers, assisting them with high level planning or issue resolution.
Resolves complex software issues across multiple software applications and platforms.
Assists in the development of internal policies and procedures (standards, controls and metrics).
Drives technical innovation on specific platforms such as COTS and Internally built Investment Accounting Platforms.
Effectively communicates and documents the application architecture utilizing industry standards as part of a team.
Ensures that existing and proposed software applications meet IT standards, as well as business and customer requirements.
