Job Duties*:  
 
  • Provides Help Desk Support.
  • Acts as front line of support for all hardware and software issues.
  • Documents incidents and resolutions, escalating incidents when necessary.
  • Maintains users assignment profiles, access controls in AD and Voip System.
  • Administers and supports Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Manages Windows Operating Systems, MAC OSX and Linux.
  • Assists in maintaining and monitoring common network and authentication protocols / technologies such as TCP/IP, NAT, VPN, Microsoft Active Directory, NAS, NFS, etc.
  • Assists with managing and monitoring hardware and software firewall.
  • Maintains Endpoints security for server, desktops, mobile devices, and network.
  • Manages hardware virtualization technologies and techniques.
  • Manages backup policies, practices, and technologies.
  • Assists in planning Disaster Recovery procedures and documentations.
  • Supports a Microsoft Exchange organization in order to meet and maintain appropriate service levels.
  • Responsible for planning, testing, tuning, and configuration of Microsoft Exchange architecture as well as supporting common email applications (Outlook, Entourage, smart phone based emails, etc.).
  • Responsible for monitoring performance and system usage.
  • Assists in maintaining Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirements:  
 
  • Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration with MIS concentration, or related field or certificate equivalency.  Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science a plus.
  • Strong fundamental knowledge of computer science
  1. 4+ years help desk support experience
  2. 2+ years systems administration experience
  3. 1+ years VOIP phone system
  4. 2+ years of administrating enterprise Windows environments
  5. Advanced administration experience in High Availability architectures with Work Load Management and Clustering.
  6. Experience with TCP/IP networking knowledge including switching/ routing
  7. Experience in the Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP), backup systems
  8. Knowledgeable with networking security concepts (Routing, switching, VLANS, WIFI)
  9. Direct experience with the following:  Windows 2003 and 2008 servers, Active Directory customization and Storage Appliances
  10. Knowledgeable with Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Dynamics, VOIP phones, Cisco Networking
  11. Experience managing Microsoft server environments.
  12. Excellent written and oral communication skills
  13. Strategic and forward thinking
  14. Ability to be proactive and work independently with limited direction
  15. Comfortable with a fast pace and changing environment
 
 
Job Status: Full-Time / Non-Exempt  (Hourly)
