Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S. preferred) from an accredited College or university; and eight or more years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience in the management and execution of network system and/or server operations.
  • Solid understanding of datacenter operations (Virtual environment, network, Citrix remote access)
  • Extensive experience with EMC or other SAN solutions
  • Extensive knowledge in disaster recovery business continuity
  • Solid knowledge of Citrix XenApp platform management and deployment over a multi-server, multi-zone environment
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of ESX and best practices for deployment, maintenance and management
  • Expertise in public and private cloud systems and architecture
  • Should have knowledge of basic office computing skills and Internet software and productivity applications such as, but not limited to, Microsoft Office software, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft Project.
  • Must have a strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems in an enterprise multi-site environment including Active Directory Services management.
  • Knowledge of the Argent system for monitoring enterprise server environment’s key diagnostics and health informatics is a must.
  • Solid network and server troubleshooting knowledge is required.
Main Responsibilities
  • Responsible for developing and managing datacenter systems and solutions.
  • Provide direction to system/solutions engineers and architects.
  • Assist in developing a strategy for improving the organization’s infrastructure and oversee deployments of those systems.
  • Develop and deploy a resilient infrastructure for the organization with the maximum uptime for business operations
  • Identify areas that may benefit from process improvement and that can potentially introduce performance/stability, and cost savings to the organization.
  • Responsible for designing, managing, and maintaining all Client's access platforms including but not limited to Client’s Citrix and VMware environments.
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of additions, deletions, and major modifications to the supporting network infrastructure organization-wide.
  • Keep informed and evaluate the organization, its direction and upcoming technologies that may better serve the needs of our customers.
  • Assist in developing technology roadmaps.
  • Maintain subject matter expertise on all verticals and develop custom tailored solutions to meet the needs of the organization.
  • Manage vendors and implementation partners on various infrastructure and systems related projects.
  • Responsible for assisting in the development of technical standards and policies and procedures.
  • Manage infrastructure and systems related projects and be the technical escalation point.
  • Work with internal technical teams to provide valuable feedback to the appropriate lines of business.

This position will be responsible for supervising, instructing and acting as escalation point for all systems engineers/architects
