Personal Injury Litigation Attorney

Are you a motivated litigator with a strong passion for seeking justice and representing seriously injured individuals? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dynamic personal injury litigation and trial practice! You will have the opportunity to work with one of the top trial lawyers in California and his team, manage cases, litigate, take and defend depositions, mediate, and try cases.

 

We REQUIRE at least two years' experience in plaintiff's personal injury litigation. Trial experience is not required but highly desired.

 

Your core duties and responsibilities will include:

 

  • Managing a caseload of 30-40 cases acting as the lead attorney through all aspects of litigation from filing through trial
  • Developing case strategies and theories
  • Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
  • Taking and defending depositions including plaintiff, defendant, experts, and more
  • Engaging in settlement negotiations
  • Acting as second chair in trials
  • Maintaining client communication to provide updates on case progress
  • Overseeing and directing Paralegal and other support staff

 

Qualifications

 

  • 3-5 years of experience in plaintiff personal injury litigation.
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active California bar membership in good standing
  • Proven track record of successfully managing a caseload and resolving cases for high value
  • Strong legal research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Client-focused approach with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High ethical standards and commitment to professional integrity.
